What Owners Are Saying

Real people, real Bibles, real craft — verified Google reviews.

★★★★★

“This isn’t a new Bible. It’s worn. Creased pages, destroyed cover, toddler’s first artwork. It holds personal meaning for me. I’m extremely happy with the final product. Would not hesitate to recommend.”

Meet The Maker

Built by Hand,
One Bible at a Time.

Red Letter Rebind started with a simple conviction: a Bible filled with notes, highlights, and tear stains shouldn’t be replaced — it should be preserved.

Every rebind is treated as a personal stewardship. We use premium leathers, traditional bookbinding techniques, and hand stitching where it matters most. The goal is simple: the binding outlasts the Bible’s next owner.

Common Questions

Before You Send Your Bible

Answers to what most owners ask before their first rebind.

Is my Bible safe in shipping?

We recommend shipping with tracking and insurance through USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Wrap your Bible in plastic (a sealed bag works well), then surround it with bubble wrap inside a sturdy box. Most Bibles arrive in perfect shape — we’ll confirm receipt the day yours lands.

What if my Bible is fragile or already damaged?

That’s exactly the kind of Bible we love working with. Worn covers, loose pages, and old damage are normal — we evaluate each one carefully when it arrives and email you if we see anything that needs to be discussed before work begins.

Will my margin notes and underlining survive?

Yes. We never touch the text block itself unless you ask us to. Every note, highlight, and underline stays exactly where you put it. We’re rebuilding the binding around your pages, not replacing them.

How long will the new binding last?

Decades, with normal use. We use premium tannery leathers that age beautifully and traditional bookbinding techniques designed to outlast the Bible itself. Hand stitching adds extra durability where the cover meets the spine.

What translations and sizes do you work with?

All of them. ESV, KJV, NASB, NIV, NLT, CSB, NKJV — every translation, study Bible, journaling Bible, family Bible, and personal-size edition is welcome. If you have a specific concern about your Bible, just mention it in the order notes.

How long does the actual rebinding take?

Two weeks from the day your Bible arrives at our workshop. We’re currently booking 6–10 weeks out, so plan accordingly if it’s a gift or has a specific deadline.
