Shipping policy
Sending your Bible to us. After you place your order we will email you confirmation and our intake address. Please:
- Pack the Bible in a sturdy box — not a padded envelope — with the Bible sealed in a plastic bag inside. Moisture is the most common way a Bible is damaged in the mail.
- Use a carrier with tracking, and write your full name on the outside of the box so we can match it to your order.
- Insure the package for what the Bible is worth to you. Priority Mail includes $50 of coverage; if your Bible is irreplaceable, buy more.
- Include a note in the box with your name, email, and order number.
Risk of loss on the way to us. Red Letter Rebind is not responsible for loss or damage that occurs while your Bible is in transit to our shop. Once it arrives, it is our responsibility. We inspect every Bible on arrival and email you to confirm we have it.
Turnaround. Current turnaround is approximately 1–2 weeks from the day your Bible reaches us. That is an estimate, not a guarantee — a hand-bound book sets its own pace, and a Bible that arrives in rough condition sometimes needs work we could not have anticipated. We will tell you if your project is running long. You are welcome to email us at any point for a status update.
Return shipping. Shipping back to you is free within the continental United States. We ship 1–3 business days after your rebind is finished, and delivery generally runs 5–7 business days after that. Your Bible ships insured and tracked, and we email you the tracking number the day it goes out.
Outside the continental U.S. Write to us at redletterrebind@gmail.com before ordering and we will quote shipping for your location. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees.
Address accuracy. Please double-check the return address on your order. We are not able to cover reshipping costs for packages returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address.
